Q: What happens during my first consultation?

A: Your first consultation is an opportunity to share your health history, take a tour of our office, and meet the doctor. You will undergo a complete oral evaluation during your very first visit, and this will include digital images and X-rays so that we can get a complete view of your mouth and the current state of your oral health. Your doctor will then go over the results tooth by tooth and explain exactly what needs to be done to restore your mouth to a healthier state. We’ll create a treatment plan that lists all proposed treatments, costs, and a tentative timeline to complete your treatment plan.

Q: How long does the procedure last?

A: This will depend on the type of procedure or treatment. We can discuss the time when you book your appointment and can provide you with some flexible scheduling options so you can get the treatments you need within an appropriate timeframe.

Q: Will I need to take time off work?

A: Some treatments allow patients to return to work or other activities the same day, while others may require one or two days off work. If you are being sedated, you may need to take the rest of the day and the following day off work. We can discuss post-op guidelines before your treatment so you can plan accordingly.

Q: What if I’m too scared to go to the dentist?

Q: How much will my dental treatments cost?

A: The cost of dental treatment varies significantly by patient and also depends on the amount of insurance coverage you have. We do our best to provide fair and affordable pricing so that cost of dental treatment isn’t a source of stress for any patient. We can provide information on third-party financing if you need it, and also submit insurance claims on your behalf.

Q: Will my insurance pay for my dental treatments? What if I can’t afford it?

A: We accept most types of insurance and can submit the claims on your behalf. Patients are expected to pay any remaining balances, and we can provide information on third-party financing through CareCredit if needed.

Q: How long will results last?

A: We provide a 5-Year Warranty on all procedures, provided that the patient keeps up with their dental checkups and visits, and is proactive about taking care of their oral health. We design the treatment plan with procedures and services that will provide long-term results. We know that investing in your oral health and paying for dental treatments can be costly at times, but your investment is one that will pay off for years to come!

Q: I have a very busy schedule. How long can I delay my dental treatment?

A: We encourage all patients to follow the timeline outlined in their treatment plan so to take care of current problems and prevent further problems in the near future. If you have any existing dental health issues that are left untreated, such as gingivitis, advanced periodontal disease, cavities, or a missing tooth, you will end up needing even more and oftentimes expensive treatments later. Making time in your schedule for those dental visits will help you achieve and maintain a beautiful, healthy smile for months and years to come.
